How to sharpen with the Micro-X Pocket Sharpener

This compact, innovative sharpening tool provides a fast means to sharpen all cutlery at home or outdoors.

1) Hold sharpener on flat, stable surface.

2) Place heel of blade at top of ceramic rod holding knife perpendicular to work surface. Draw blade along ceramic rod in slicing motion to the point of the blade.

3) Repeat Step 2 with other side of blade, alternating from side to side 10-15 times to restore a keen edge.

Note: All ceramic rods can be removed from the "X" position and placed in the parallel edge position.

CAUTION: Ceramic rods are fragile.
Exercise care in removing and repositioning ceramic rods.

Serrated Blade Sharpening

3) Repeat Step 2 for each serration.

Sharpening Fish Hooks

1) Using parallel ceramic rod position, place point of hook in groove between rods. Slide point of hook up and down 8-10 times to restore point.
